Portable Power Unit
Go Anywhere. Be Anywhere.
As an extremely avid outdoors person, I was given design lead on Schneider’s first outdoor gear product. The design director believed I would have ample knowledge on outdoor culture to know what adventurers would want & need in their gear & apply it to their Portable Power Unit.
Keep your servers organized, no matter the size or quantity.
I was challenged to modernize the outdated bezel design of the Uninterrupted Power Units (UPS), one of the most popular products in the company’s catalog, as well as redesign the storage rack that houses the UPS in its various sizes.
I was tasked to redesign three sensors that interact with one another. They needed to be sleek & nondescript as they need to be in visible, open spaces to do their job effectively.
I worked closely with a team of engineers to design a powerful & compact Uninterrupted Power Supply unit. The design needed to be sophisticated & have linked elements to the company’s design language.
I was charged with designing the first medical UPS in the company’s catalog. This project required great communication with engineers about what the parameters were to create a great project that would be helpful in the medical field.
